I think it's about time to pay a tribut to this fine man. You might not all feel the same way I do..but this guy is great, he's a legend, and if he were alive, he'd sing at my wedding. Because I would pay any cost to have him there. One of the greatest musicians that ever lived..ladies and gentlemen..give it up for Frank Sinatra!

As for favorite individual singers known for their work in the past, I'm going to go with Louis Armstrong, Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Nat King Cole, BB King, Fats Domino, Robert Page, John Lennon, Paul McCarthy, George Harrison, Mark Knopfler, Simon and Garfunkle, Jerry Garcia, and Johnny Cash.

For more modern singers I'll have to say John Mayer, Dave Matthews, Michael Stipe, Randy Travis, Dwight Yoakam, George Strait, Norah Jones, and Alison Krauss.

I'm sure I've forgotten many.

I fail to see Frank Sinatra's "special" talent. I find his songs repetitive and uncreative (at least the lyrics), and I have heard plenty of people that sing as well as him.

(I'm sorry if I'm sounding condescending, but I discolated my shoulder yesterday, so I am feeling pretty bitter)

Its Julio. My dad also knew Natalie. He also knew Bob Marley and the Beach Boys. If you havn't figured it out yet, out parents are pretty musical. My dad taught the mandalin player in Nickel Creek. They are awesome.
