Well, it depends. If you have electricity, lights give off far better illumination, and use less oxygen. On the other hand, if you have no electricity and live in a dark, damp castle from the stone age, a torch might be more useful - because lights wouldn't give off any, well...light, at all, no matter how light they are to carry.
Then again, torches require fuel, that's always a pain.

I have a really annoying brother. He smells like some sort of sea ceature. Fish I think. And not the good kind of fish either. I like fish. It has protein. And my sister smells like oranges. OMG I remember that book! I sort of got a fear of heights from reading it (this was years ago). Authors really shouldn't be able to put that kind of horrifying content in children's books, I got scarred by it.

Once, I read a book called "Myrtel's Purple Turtle" it was a work of genius. Pure, genius. The ending made me cry. And I don't cry much. I'm not a crier. I'm a laugher. And a dancer. In my spare time I like to knit shoes for kittens and frogs.
