Did you or are you going to buy a class ring? If so, what stuff is on it?

I did not purchase a class ring during high school. I am not against the idea of wearing school-related gear (I did, and still do, have a letterman jacket from high school), and don't mind the ring itself, but I never could get over how cheap the stone (or insert) looked on every class ring I'd ever seen. I've also never worn a ring at all, so I probably wouldn't have worn the class ring if I had purchased one.

If you are thinking of getting one, I'd take a good look at the white gold option (if your supplier has it) as it is pretty sweet looking, comparatively.

They have platinum, or a thing called Silve Elite, which is a silver/platinum composite.

The class rings for my school actually have real stones. I would be impressed, but that would take effort.

No way. They are expensive pieces of junk. I'd rather buy a nice wireless mouse and keyboard then have a stupid ring.

I just ordered mine last night. It has a Red garnet stone, with a protected image of the cross behind it. On one side, it says 2006 and below that it has the US Maine Corps sybol. On the otherside it has my first name and has ROTC in the middle of The Torch of Knowledge.

Bluetooth really has just now begun to infiltrate the mainstream, in about 6 months it will have matured and hit industry standard classification (just as "Super Bluetooth 2" shows up and makes the current version incredibally obsolete).

Wait until College. Then you'll actually have a class ring which means something.

High school doesn't need a ring. It's just a bunch of stupid kids who think they are the best thing ever, pretend to be older then they are, and are, in general, stupid.

I of course, am the exception Posted Image

I don't care for the rings all that much. Except the girl ones. The guys that wear them look like idiots ..thinks..

I'm getting a bracelet one instead.
