There were quite a few Stradivarus (that is how it is spelled, µ) instruments floating around when ol' Antonio was still wandering the streets of Cremona (mainly because he had many apprentices) so they were (and, I believe, still are) nowhere near as rare as the F1.

Personally, I prefer the violins made in the shadow of Joseph Guarnerius del Jesus (they tend to be more forceful in tone), but thats just me.

Being geeks, you are more likely to talk about how fast computers are rather than how fast cars are. Regardless, I know of what you speak. Personally, its not really worth 400k to own a car that only moderately breaks a world acceleration record. It doesn't even look as cool as some other cars... at least its not a million now.

I agree, those cars are ugly (except the V12 enignes). Ferrari's rev to high pitche for me, they sound like and RC car to me.

I think the MacLaren is a beautiful car. I've seen one at a car show. They have only one driver's seat, right in the middle. They also have a massive engine, and look, I dunno, meaner than any Ferrari. Like it eats Ferraris for lunch. If it had a mouth, that is.

I like trucks, big honkin' 4x4s with V-10s, 8 inch lifts, super swampers, and camper shells. Trucks so damn big that they can fit my current truck in the bed as a spare, and still have room for a bale of alfalfa!

Of course my current truck is small 4x4 Mazda truck with a flat-4, and big ATs. I do have the camper shell with carpet kit though, which is most excellent.
