So I'm at the movie theatre with my "friend", We're going to see Intolerable Cruelty. So, throughout the whole people, this old couple is sitting right next to us. And the whole time, they're talking about sex! THEIR SEX! THEIR SEX LIFE! a;slkdfj;asdlkfj To make matters worse, they started talking about how my guy and I were going to be getting to that stage soon. Yadda yadda. It was disgusting. We're not dating, so it was odd. Anyway, They were saying stuff like "ooh baby, when we get home, I'm gonna ride you just like that horse" *Seabiscuit trailer showing* then.."Ooh, you rascal!" Then, during the movie, there was some reference to how big the guy's "little friend" was, and the guy's like.."Ooh, mine's bigger." She goes "Tell me about it" It was disgusting. The whole time I wanted to say, "If you're so damn horny, get a room and spare us!" I didn't. Then in the movie, the lady's getting married again. And I said "She should not be wearing a white wedding dress!" And the guy goes, "Honey, was your dress white?" I leaned over to my friend and said "Probably not" and they shut up. but...some of the other comments..talking about positions and stuff...just...YUCK!

That's when you tell them nastily that its not polite to make unwanted commentaries on the movie and they should let the other people in the theater listen to the soundtrack, even if they'd prefer to fantasize. Or maybe, you could "get up" (as if going to the bathroom) and pass in front of them a lot - like once every 2-5 minutes, just to annoy the hell out of them.

How old was this couple? If they were 80 or something, I can see your point, but if (and this is what I suspect) they were 35 and you're calling that old, I might inquire about the reason why you think that this is at all odd. Regardless of their ages, I think that I'd probably be more upset about them talking during the movie at all rather than the subject matter contained within their conversation (which, frankly, isn't particularly disturbing).

I don't agree that all old people suck, whether its in the way that µ or TheRedeemer mean it. But I do think that this 70 year old couple might have found a better place to talk about their sex life.

I personally find that young people have a much greater propensity to talk loudly and annoyingly about sex and other trivial issues at movies than old people do. Therefore, following moonunit4eva's logic, all young people, myself included, must also suck.
