Where exactly did the "shifty eye" part come from? I think the dog part came from µ, but the shifty slipped me bye...

I love that game! That was the first Ambrosia game I ever played. I bought the game disk when I registered and then it was just love...

Hera is an awesome editing engine - it doesn't let you play too much with the AI, but it does give you a lot of control over the elements in the game. Check out the conversion plugs created by little 'ol me to get a feel for some of the other races ships - then download the TC plugs for a whole new game. Sundered's plug was awesome, definitely the best one ever made.

Put a few hours into Hera and you'll be surprised what you can do.

This would be a very cool game to make a follow up for... Too bad Lamont doesn't see money in it.

Unfortunately for me, not much. I heard somewhere around these boards that some people were porting EV:O to ares. I know aresaxis was going to try that three years ago, but they kind of vanished, and I guess someone took over development.
