I've recently taken the plunge and purchased a cell phone. I had always gone on the theory that, as long as I didn't really have a land-line, I sure didn't need a cellular. This always worked well up until my truck broke down a while back and I decided that it was stupid to wander around looking for a payphone when disaster strikes. So I went to my local T-Mobile dealer and purchased a used Nokia 3390 phone and activated it on the cheapest plan available. I then placed a Sterling Marlin faceplate on the thing and have not turned it on in the half month since I got it (with the exception of a one miniute test call to make sure it worked). That is my cell-phone story, you may all return to your regularly scheduled lives.

Hey, I got a cell phone about a year ago for similar reasons (emergencies, need a lift). I've used it perhaps...seven times since then for brief calls, when I really did need a ride.

Well, I use mine a lot, I have a thirty dollar a month plan....hehe, my last bill was 100 dollars over! I mainly use it for emergencies/guys/the works.

No, because I pay for it. Although, I don't know how, I don't have a job. I babysit from time to time, but I usually average about 60 bucks a gig, but...that's not very much. :shrugs:

And $60 a gig is incredible money for babysitting. I never got more than $8 an hour (a little under US$6).

vaccum every floor

clean room
do dishes before and after every meal, when needed
