Holy crap!!

I just drank a 16 ounce caffenated drink from a bookstore. I wont be able to sleep for the rest of the night, but thats not the point. The point is that now everything smells like coffee!! Its insane!! What dark conspiracy could have triggerd this atrosity!? We may never know. Any ideas?

I can not recall a time when caffene had any noticable affect on me. I often drink cokes while I'm getting ready to go to bed, and nothing, zip, nada. If I drink many caffenated sodas (10 or so) in a short period of time, I get a slight sugar high, but I'm never wired. Also, coffee is evil, surely the work of the devil or other such nonsense.

A liter (or litre, for all you cool people) of Mountain Dew will put me on a sugar high for about five minutes. One 12oz Jones Soda, though, containing no caffeine and almost no sugar, will keep me awake for hours.

Cappucinos are really the only caffiene that will do anything really. Oh, and Penguins, in huge numbers.

As someone who has visited a good many Starbucks, and had coffee at multiple Barnes and Nobles, I feel the need to point out that the coffee served at Barnes and Nobles is not the same that you get at Starbucks. Whether you love or hate Satrbucks, Barnes and Noble brews a cup that is worse than what is in the avergae Starbucks. The same goes for pretty much all Starbucks coffee that is supplied through some corporate partnership.

And coffee is delicious, but not all coffee is for everyone. When you walk into a coffee shop in the morning, they are serving a cup for the working person who needs to wake up. A good coffee house can give you a variety of flavorful coffees that might not have a place in the office, but are damned fine just to sit back and enjoy.
