In my view, virtually all TT topics turn out to be about the same, random discussions that evolve quickly. This is why I tried to promote an IRC channel for TT. That is also why I think having so many active topics is a bad thing

Posting is fine. Posting a lot in one day is fine. Posting in thirty different topics about unrelated stuff, especially when half of the topics were beginning to fall off the page, isn't quite so fine.
Its the massive swarm of green dots and pages of "moonunit4eva" last posts made within an hour that drive us insane.
