That's right folks. No more long, pointless, going nowhere threads for TT. This is a brand-spankin new topic. Free from the clutter of post after post of nonsensicalaties and made up words. This is for all the newbies out there. Fight the power! See, all the n00bs are tired of reading thousands of posts just to post on a thread. (Because as we all know, it is a sin and federal crime to post on a thread without reading every post). So this is a nice, sweet, short thread. For all the n00bs to up their post count, without having to put the effort into reading. Thankyou, and please don't lock this. Or what the hell, do, I don't really care.

This guy has no spankin clue,

-On average a topic change in a TT topic is about every 10 posts, so only read that last 10 and you'll be fine
-What Newbs?
-This is just another one of those topics.

So, is the point of this topic to be hijacked? If so, I think it should become a Babylon-5 topic. I will start.

Yes! I finally convinced my dad to buy the first three seasons of B5 on DVD! w00tage!

I really wish they hadn't canceled Crusade, the next part in the B5 universe.

If you are a B5 fan, I highly recommend the books. They are well written, And follow JMS's plan for B5.

I never read more than 3 posts back, maybe that's why TT is so random, if every one does it.
I've never quite gotton to like B5 seem boring to me, I'm still saving up for anotehr series of STNG.

Star Trek is good, but I feel nothing can compare to the greatness of Babylon 5. The story was so complex, and interesting, the visuals were superb... ARGHHHH! I can't wait until it arrives...

EDIT: B5 is so ünboring I could die! You might have just watched the first season, which didn't show any of the Shadow war coming. Once the Shadow war started, it got sweet.

Well, you're overexaggerating on the visuals, but each episode did have multiple storylines. Seasons three and four were the best, imo, and season one was lacking in multiple parts (as was five, but probably because five was rushed).

And TNN caused Crusade to be cancelled, or Crusade was cancelled because JMS got tired of the stupid demands TNN kept wanting to place on Crusade. It would have been nice if they finished the first season, the next episode (that never got made) for Crusade had what Walter Koenig had said was his "best role as Bester yet."

I still stand by my opinion that Farscape is the best SciFi show yet. It got cancelled though, because it was "too good" - not some mindnumbing typical show that you find elsewhere on TV today.

BLASPHEMY!

Babylon 5 is so cool. I have watched Farscape. It doesn't come close to B5's level of quality. (in my opinion of course)

Which episodes have you seen? Babylon 5 had some really good episodes, and some pretty bad ones. Farscape has some really good episodes, a lot of fun ones, but also a few "weak" episodes. If you're basing your judgement off of one or two episodes of Farscape, you're making a bad assumption. And if you haven't seen any of the third or fourth season, you're missing out.

I have seen maybe 10 or 15 farscape episodes. Not enough get into the story.

I feel that B5 didn't have any truly bad episodes. Actually, the only B5 episode I didn't like was when Dr. Franklin met that singer who had the sickness that wasn't curable.

Oh yeah? Well, get frelled! Posted Image

(It does seem a bit hard to understand if you join in at the middle, which is probably why, the storylines build on previous episodes and experiences, even if it doesn't seem so at first, and lots of things are explained in back episodes, but once you get into it...)
