There is no meaning to life, just justification; its better than the alternative.

I have a friend who believes everyone has to decide for themselves. Unfortunately, since she won't tell me what she thinks the meaning is, I remain stuck.

I think the meaning of life is to be happy and try to make others around you happy. It also helps to reproduce if you are smart and kill yourself if you are stupid Posted Image

I think we each individually pick some big goal or dream or desire to go towards in life, and until we reach it, that is our purpose in life. After we reach it, we find another.

Which I guess, is somewhat related to her thinking.

Quite possibly. A shame I don't really have a goal for my life right now. Unless the generic "get rich, find true love and have beautiful children" counts?

Well, is that all you want out of life? Isn't there something you have that you're looking forward to?

Nothing important enough to warrant being the meaning of my life. Certainly, parties and girls are worth getting excited over, but anyone who thinks that debauchery is the meaning of life needs to think a little harder, in my opinion.
