I was wondering....what would one do if a penguin lost its beak? My house is full of penguins and they're eating my cereal. I accidectally cut the beak off of one of them while warding them off with a large butcher knife. Any ideas on how to get a replacment? The original shattered. I do not know of any professionasl penguin docters in the area.

You may want to talk to Mrs. Premise, the penguin on her tele blew up last night and she may have some spare parts laying about (just leave a message on her machine, she's in the backyard burying the cat).

A skilled dentist would be able to take a mold from a healthy penguin's beak and form a replacement beak for your injured bird. Just last August there was a case in Vancouver where a dentist made a replacement beak for a bald eagle after a poacher had shot off the majority of that bird's beak.

From the bird's point of view, certainly.

I think I'll try that. "Hello? Could you make my penguin a beak" That would be an intersting conversation.

For heaven's sake. It's not like "p" is anywhere near "b" on the keyboard.

No insult intended, Carinae, but I've known a few dyslexics who can manage quite good spelling if they try. Perhaps you should set your mind to it?

Did you guys know that there actually is a dissise that makes you, not control your hand, normally it's the right hand, it can do all sorts of funny stuff, like unbuttoning your shirt, when you just buttoned it with your left hand!
How can you know that i don't suffer from that?

Because most of us have a reasonably good sense of what is theoretically possible and what is, in fact, utter balderdash?
