Normally when I hit McDonald's (very rarely, I've eaten there perhaps four or five times in the past year) it's something a bit more...substantial. I personally feel that so long as you work it off via exercise or just throughout your day (let's say you work construction for a living) then you can just eat whenever you feel like without any sort of guilt regarding the nutrition.
Although I do prefer food which tastes better, IE Fuddruckers or Five Guys. The people at Fuddruckers are normally nice enough to put an extra beef patty on my one-pound burger when I'm feeling really hungry.

Well, I seriously think that it's going to take over our whole existance....and I don't even know what the #3 is, I just typed 3 because that was the same number as the # sign.
#3 is a quarter pounder with cheese. And you say McDonalds is taking over our lives...PAH!
I do think that fast food (McDonalds, Wendy's, Burger King, etc.) is becoming a bit too prevalent. On the other hand, McDonalds had it's first monetary loss in...forever last year. Massively declining sales overseas have been forcing the closure of literally hundreds of stores. Add in that the American way of life (Levi's, McDonalds, rock music) has been taking a huge hit recently and you're probably going to be seeing a much larger decrease in McDonalds sales soon enough. Which is of course why they and the other fast food chains are buying out the "fast fresh" places like Baja Fresh.

You'll never see me at a Burger King or a Subway. *shudder*
But I still doubt its taking over everyone's lives, seems on a decline really.

Fast food...I like some of those stores, and I hate others.

Certainly agree on the Burger King and Subway. My feelings on most fast food places is that by waiting an extra couple minutes somewhere else you can get vastly superior food. Given that there are four places near me about the same distance away as a Subway which have subs and I just don't go there.
As for the decline part, see one of my above posts. Fast food business has been taking a loss and having to regroup recently.

I've never even heard of most of them either. "yay" for living in the middle of the country.
Hell, I just know most of them because I've been to the majority of the states in the U.S. There aren't any Jack In The Boxes, In N' Outs, or White Castles around here.
