Exactly. However, MOO3 lost a few karma points with me for making Zortrium the weakest type of armor. They even had the nerve to make Zortium a much better type. Grrrr... Posted Image

I agree. MOOII is awsome though, and I have played it for many longer hours at a time than can be healthy for me.

I usually win by using my sublte diplomacy to maneuveure others into a position of friendship with me, at which time I will take control of all their technology via spies as well as use the extensive research bonuses on my custom race to learn quickly. Then I build one gigantic supercruiser that is invulnerable and I use it to cover my empire while I build more.
