That's because people are angry at Coke. They used to put cocain in it, then they pull it out leaving a country full of consumers without their proper fix; that's almost 90 years without that classic Coca-Cola buzz. Pepsi is just a cola that started as a rip-off of "sober coke". Nothing to piss people off about.

On a slightly different note, I've never had vanilla coke.
Also I have to say that *everyone* I've met hates energy drinks (like red bull) but I love them... odd.
