Well, my GC seems to think that after the next reset, you'll be able to choose your own galaxy, with the members and such. I was wondering, if this was true, if we should do one. It'd be useful, and we'd have a much faster means of communication. Whaddaya say?

yes this is true. I will be sending(in PA) you the coordinates for the ares alliance galaxy when the time for the reset comes. Do not post them here. No ev heads allowed! The new galaxies allow for 35 people also. If we run outta slots we will open another galaxy to the alliance. If not, im gonna let some(2) of my buddies in.

Can I join in on your galaxy, even if I don't participate in these alliance thises and alliance thats? I don't have an interest in this alliance at this point, but I'd be more than overjoyed to help out a fellow galaxy member in need of defense. (I get along just fine scanning my own roids, so I'd make the perfect person to have a defense fleet.)

I think that'd be all right, Avatara. I also have a friend who I'd like to let in. If we add the current members of the alliance, plus Avatara and your two friends and my friends, we have 31 people that would be in it, which means we have 4 empty slots.

Actually now that I think about it, shouldn't we all pick a different galaxy to spread out our alliance? Then we would be 35 galaxies strong instead of one. We'd all have to finagle our way to GC or MoC, but it wouldn't be too hard.

Also, it turns out that there will also be only 25 people per galaxy. I think that those of us that think they can be GC or MoC in another galaxy should each pick a different galaxy, but the rest should stay in one.

Its easier to defend when you're in the same galaxy as the ETA is really short compared to the attacker's. Its also easier for team-attacks and mass-defense.

Where did you get 31? I wasn't aware the alliance and friends were that many...

Honestly, I think I'm set with my current galaxy. However, it would be useful to switch in 2 more to each gal so that there are some number of Ares players in each galaxy. Then we actually have a claim to Ares...

Maybe 5, actually. Then we're seven galaxies, and we'll have 1/5 of the galaxy Ares. That makes for a convincing argument.

Well, count the number of members in the "Ares Alliance Reinstated" topic, add Pyro's two friends, you, and my friend, and you get 31.

Hmm, actauuly you can't pick a galaxy, read the latest post by the creators on the topic, should be a link on the overview page. Imagine what would happen if they put all the top players went in to one galaxy, that gal would be invinceable. ARES only has 31 members, hmm that's not much, you guys don't recruit or what?
