I was thinking that perhaps we should bump this up to a galactic scale? Those of you who aren't a GC could pester yours about it. There are 13 of us so far, and that's enough galaxies to have a marginally effective alliance. I've already signbed on my galaxy.

Not a bad idea... maybe then it could get at least a tiny bit of recognition.... isn't EVA on the galactic scale already?

Won't that make you quite an attractive target? Lots of roids and less points/ships make for more attacks. My GC just got attacked because she had lots of roids but only about 300 ships... she ended up evacuating. I could do an asteroid scan right now and get like 30 roids, but my MoC, who's experienced, recommended to me that you should have at least 10K points to back up every roid you got. sounds like a good philosophy, no?

I don't think we need it on a galactic scale. If we become too big, we'll be popular targets for even bigger alliances. Besides, we manage as it is.

It is their pigheaded and baseless philosophy: "If it isn't me, then it's opinions, feelings, and life do not matter, and it was meant to serve me." They also have this ability for creating excuses that are pointless, but they get others to believe it. A few examples: "It's only some savages. It's only five acres of rain forest. It's only one semi-truck. It's only fifty gallons of toxic waste..." After this realization, I marvelled at how humans, and the rest of the planet, have survived for so very long."

Yep, that's the problem. My PDS and fleet would bite hard enough to make 'em think twice though.

Yep.... always have the defenses to match your roids. There's no such thing as too much defense, but there's DEFINITELY such thing as too many roids.

If you really want to bump it up, I am GC of my galaxy and can put an ARES tab on it. I don't think anyone would mind, they are looking for alliances to join into. Well, 5 are but they are the only ones who really give a damn about anything

ATTENTION 8 LIGHTNINGS: Are you the only one working on the site? Actually there's not much point to that question cuz I was basically just going to ask to get some boards on there. The thing I would like about Ares Alliance boards is that I wouldn't have to the Ambrosia boards each time, and mess up the little "new posts since your last visit thing."

Posted Image Anyhow yeah I'd just like to see some boards on there, however basic they (or even it - one board may be enough) may be.

8 Lightnings, the website needs to be updated. It says I'm the only one that people can ask to be allowed to join, although they can ask anybody.

If you check planetarion for your actual coordinates and post them I'd be able to let you in...

Those are the right coordinates. And if you haven't fixed it from the couple of messages I sent 8, I'm Pallas Athene of Obain.

Here's the list, by coords. Apparently I'm in the only shared cluster.

Slug [Admiral Slug of Salril (31:15:3)]

Mag Steelglass [Bilefroth the Terrible of Gaitor (37:18:6)]

Pyro [Pyreus Falconis of Proteus Alpha (57:14:10)]

Talon Karrde [Talon_Karrde of Weave Command (61:4:19)]

Sargatanus [Sargatanus of Salril Prime (66:24:8)]

Asc [Aurelia of Europa VII (71.23.11)]

Desert Fox [God Fox of Foxcral (87:23:8)]

Washer [The Theory of Juliana (92:5:15)]

Piemur1 [Piemur1 of Pern1 (94:15:5)]

Pallas Athene [need the information that goes here (94:19:4)]

ferazel_09 [Ferazel of Habnabit (96:24:10)] **There's a newbie here... maybe deletion due to inactivity?

El Spamo [Zhaphod Beeblebrox of Something-resembling-earth (107:5:10)]

GlueBubble [Gluebubble of Gluestam (111:14:11)]

8 Lightnings [8 Lighnings of Tetrik V (117:17:19)] **Not a newbie... hmmm... planetarion.noxordo.com doesn't register a Tetrik

Jak205 [Jak205 of Granola (127:6:23)]

Joolzman5 [Julian Carroll of Kopiquré (141:9:14)]

[Tycho?] [Durandal of Artares (193:22:22)]

Admiral Slathkill II [Admiral Slathkill II of Rossu at (201:8:25)]

It's fun being in a galaxy which can actually play PA. I look, and the only galaxy bigger than mine is Mag's.
