My galaxy that I am in is sueing for admittance into the Ares Alliance.
We've got a very good participation rate, and we're growing fast and strong. I think it would be a good idea for us to allow them in.

I am the new MoC so you can contact me about any sort of admittance or rejection thanks.

I thought it was a deal that any galaxy with an |ARES| member was in the alliance...

What's our relation to the EVA alliance? It would be cool if you guys could get on IRC, it's much easier to defend people if you can get on some real time chat. Join channel #ev3

Yeah. Prehaps us at EVA could get a NAP or an Alliance with ARES.

Although I hear most of them are going through rough times in PA, especially Slug.

I haven't had a problem with any fellow members.

I'll give out my secret: build up roids slowly. Make sure your score divided by 10,000 is bigger than your number of roids. That way, you don't become a likely target.

Hey, its worked for the past month! Posted Image

Can't someone make a #Ares or something?

And is it true that any galaxy with one planet in the Ares Alliance is automatically all in the Alliance?

Actually, I find it best to always have 3-4x as many uninitiated roids as initiated ones. most people won't bother attacking for odds like that.

Then consider yourself lucky. i've found that tactic to be a calculated risk. It would work fine if everyone bothered to scan their targets before raiding them, but this isn't that case. I tried it and ended up getting three huge raids in a row. One of them sent me a message flaming me about keeping so many uninitiated roids laying around.

"I think I have discovered the problem with humans. It is not entirely stupidity, as I once thought. It is their pigheaded and baseless philosophy: "If it isn't me, then it's opinions, feelings, and life do not matter, and it was meant to serve me." They also have this ability for creating excuses that are pointless, but they get others to believe it. A few examples: "It's only some savages. It's only five acres of rain forest. It's only one semi-truck. It's only fifty gallons of toxic waste..." After this realization, I marvelled at how humans, and the rest of the planet, have survived for so very long."

Mag, your signature is starting to be as long as EMINEMs was...

Pharris, well the recent attacks on our galaxy by those moronic Legion members that are aimed at our biggest scores would defeat the purpose of that tactic. I'm up to #2 now in my galaxy (scorewise) and nobody has even bothered to scan me. I mean, who would want to attack a person with 1.8 million score and 93 asteroids? I guess I'm not worth it to them, and that's good...for me. Posted Image

Perhaps? It would be nice for a channel on irc.planetarion.com. And if it's true that my whole galaxy is in the Ares Alliance, I should tell them that. Answers please? (Sorry don't mean to be obnoxious...)
