"Every time it's the same damn thing." He mumbled to himself as he slithered to his quarters. On the way he passed first officer Sheesh, who threw him a look of concern.

Meanwhile, a lone cruiser drifts through the silent blackness of space. It's Captain, a rough looking ishiman, sighs as the last casualty reports roll in.
"gor'Ash, my mate, was among those killed in the Salrilian raid. I will miss her much."
A cadet gunner pets the captain's shoulder (the ishiman expression for compassion) and says "We will get them snak'tu's (an ishiman expletive) and we will hit them so fast they will never see it coming. remember: they are watching." An unhealthy and evil grin forms on the captain's lips and the cadet doubts whether that was an approriate time to say that.
