Well, after thinking about this poll for ten days, I still can't decide which one to vote for :( This is a really hard question.
Maybe Kosha. Kosha has beautiful dancing music, a gem merchant capable of making you richer than the game can handle, it's the only place in Cythera where you can buy a steak, and it's even got an underground illegal drug laboratory. Kosha rocks.
Or maybe Catamarca. Catamarca has that annoying music that I love so much, especially when I played it on an older computer and it kept glitching... Catamarca has a pretty cemetery, a healing water spring, and is the only town on a peninsula. Peninsulas are cool.
But what about Cademia? There's something to be said for sheer size and amount of things to do.
And Odemia - how many hours did I spend running back and forth between the farm and Odemia, trading flax? And Odemia has chickens. And a prison. And it's fortified!
But Pnyx is unique and mysterious. Or at least, it's felt mysterious since the For Whom the Bell Tolls TS. That might have something to do with it. Still, Pnyx is a pretty cool school. The wishing fountain rocks too. And the music's pretty nice.
LandKing Hall is convenient. It's got the only comfortable bed in all of Cythera, plus free food and infinite mana replenishment. Definitely the best lodging in Cythera. But, there's always the risk that everything (including the doors) will vanish, leaving you stuck. I believe allocating lots of memory to Cythera decreases this risk, but I'm not even sure about that. I've never encountered that glitch anywhere but LKH.
What can I say? I've got so many good memories of all of these cities and I can't make a decision. & whenever I think about it, it makes me want to play Cythera again.
I'll become even more undignified than this
