The worst I felt today was when I had nothing to do but watch my brother play Call of Duty. He's so terrible it's not even funny.

*slow pan left* Hey, cool, there's stuff over there. Hmm, how do I move again? Oh, right. *walks over*

*slow pan down* Hey, what's that? A live gre- KRA-KOOM

Fair enough...

I realise how it didn't make sense...

I'm at college atm so weekdays I get up at half six. I'm tired (even now) so at 1 am or when ever I posted (probably later), even if I got to sleep at 1 I'd of had a max of 5 and 1/2 hours sleep making me screwed anyway...

Ouch. Ok, that clears that up.

Three inches? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Three inches of heavy slushy stuff, I said. Not counting all of the snow on top and the layer of ice underneath.

Three inches is not much, I have to say. Unless you a plastic shovel. Get yourself a snowplow shovel.

I must be being unclear. There were more than three inches. Maybe six or seven, all told. But there was at least three inches that was especially heavy and nasty slushy stuff- the kind of stuff that either slides off the shovel before you can lift it or sticks on when you try to throw it off. I'm not talking about fresh, light, fluffy snow here either. When I say heavy I mean that it was heavy.

Because I can't see how even 10 inches of said slush would be really hard.

Twilight city gonna set my soul
It's gonna set my soul on fire
Got a whole lot of money that's ready to burn
So get those stakes up high

There's a thousand pretty women waiting out there
They're all waiting, they'll never make air
And I'm just the devil with a lung to spare, so

Viva, las vegas!
Viva, las vegas!
Viva, las vegas!

How I wish that there were more
Than the 24 hours in the day
Even if I ran out of speed, boy
I wouldn't sleep a minute of the way

Oh that blackjack and poker and the roulette wheel
I'll poach your money lost on every deal
All you need is sonar and nerves of steel, so

Viva, las vegas!
Viva, las vegas!
Viva, las vegas!

Viva las vegas
Where the neon signs flash your name
The one-arm bandits cash in
All soaps down the drain
Viva las vegas
Turning day into nighttime
Turning night into daytime
If you see it once
You'll never be the same again

Gotta keep on running
Gonna have me some money
If it costs me my very last dime
If I wind up broke
Then I'll always remember that
I had a swingin time

Oh, I'm gonna give it everything I've got
Lady luck's with me, the dice stay hot
Got coke up my nose to dry away the snot, so

Viva, las vegas!
Viva, las vegas!
Viva, las vegas!
Viva, viva, las vegas!

The most snow I (thankfully) ever see is at most 1 inch for about 1-2 days every two years. I have no wish to deal with this annoying crystalized water.

We're currently experiencing the worst snow for nearly 20 years. London seems to have closed, no buses, tubes or trains. This means Londoners are having to walk, and Londoners don't like to walk. So London is in chaos.

Everywhere else seems to be coping ok. People are driving slowly and breaking down a bit, but so far it's been fun!

I know the amount of snow we're getting will probably not elicit any reply from Americans or Canadians, but for us it's a pretty big deal. It's all a case of perspective :P

I would like to reply to the effect of your all being a bunch of pussies. 8 inches is a fair bit of snow, but it's hardly the end of the world. Hell, we had a couple feet dumped on us a couple years back in Albuquerque - in the middle of the friggen' desert - and I was up and driving around by 10AM the morning after.
