It's awesome. This is a given. I'm listening to it right now, though, and I'm surprised at how similar it is to the Marathon music. Was that style of music common of games at that time?

Technically speaking, music isn't really real, it is just interpretations by your brain. So what you hear may not be what anyone else hears.

They are kinda similar. I guess it's just because they were both synthed in the mid-90's. That said, I enjoy both the Marathon music and the Ares music.

It real in the fact that it is a system of vibrations traveling through the air (or some other fluid of your choice).

I love the Ares music. Quite a few songs are highly rated on my iTunes and shuffle into my party shuffle often.
