This raises the interesting philosophical question of how many fours there are.

This seems kinda stupid. You click a button and the number 4 pops up. It's really funny though, but pointless.

The instructions were funnier than the generator.
And the winner of the text only entry goes to CrazyChick for "Watch for B&B on bridge." Encountering the B&B anywhere is dangerous enough. Throwing a bridge into the recipe is an equation for disaster. - Ragashingo

Why would you want to generate 4 instead of 7?

This brings up the whole question of random numbers. Even a gnereator which consistently gives the same result is random, as long as you have no idea what the result will be beforehand. Its just as random as a generator which gives a different result every time, because you have no idea what the result will be, but know it will be different.

There is no such thing as true randominity, just events that cannot be explained due to the complexity and quantity of their causes and influences.

We need to eliminate the concept. Down with randomness!

Incidentally, the colloquial use of "random" irritates me quite a bit.

Agreed. Random does not mean Ironic, Random does not mean Unexpected, Random means Random.

In a world where no one knows what ironic means, you'll be hard pushed to get a completely accurate definition of random.
