I play D&D. Sometimes I think I only play D&D because I get to roll little pieces of plastic and count up numbers ;).

In total I have:
6d4
41d6
11d8
2d10
2dTens
2d12
3d20

I'm currently playing a rogue wielding a morningstar, so the only dice I really get to use nowadays are a d20, a d8, and a d6 B). But next time I play a caster or something I am all set.

I only just acquired today the green dice and the extra blues (had the usual 7 before). I've been playing with them :P.

I never played D&D, but was pretty involved in Magic for a good while. As a result, I have a meager handful of d20s and d12s collected as doorprizes from tournaments. I also once bought a spherical d6, which is pretty neat.

Tomorrow night I shall be playing a game involving dice, gambling, and lots and lots of alcohol. Yay family reunions!

I also got a bag for my blue dice from the store nearby, since they are now more than tripled. There's plenty of room inside for my collection to increase, although the reds and greens have their own little plastic boxes.

That sounds a might further up my alley than collecting dice for D&D.

Going clockwise from the big black one roughly at 12 o'Clock...

1 x D100
1 x Random hit location (used mainly in GURPS)
1 x D30
8 x D20
7 x D12 (My best character was a barbarian, the D12 is your best friend)
7 x D%
7 x D10
6 x D8
6 x D6 (planning on buying more of these, as we seem to be leaning toward GURPS again)
6 x D4

In the middle...

lots x D6 (used for fireballs etc, as rolling too many full size D6s is a pain in the ass...)

I keep mine in these two bags...

The small black leather one is for the D6s, I purchased that from a leather worker at a Robin Hood festival.

The rest of them live in the blue velvet, lined bag. Sealed with velcro. Which I made myself. Luckily I had the forethought to make it double the size it needed to be at the time, as it still has more room left over.

I knew a guy that had brushed metal dice, probably those ones. The problem was, they were fairly small and we never really quite trusted the rolls.

Ooh, velcro. Yeah, I should take a picture of my dice bag, but that would involve not being so lazy.

My 36d6s are currently all stacked up nice in the box all facing the same direction, it looks cool and people complement them when they see it like that. If I do take a picture ever of my dice bag, I'll show you the box too.

One of our groups players has a hand made metal dice set (not by him), they're very obviously hand made, and he seems to roll a hell of a lot of 20s on his D20. He claims it's perfectly balanced...

I don't trust those, asked one once if I should drink it, when I was a kid. I vomited blue for three days...

We played some CLR. I won $15 but blew $9. Net gain of $6 isn't bad though. I spent it on a sandwich the next day. It was at a Wawa though, so all is well.

I'm more of a Blackjack man myself, went in last time with £20, came out with £31. Was happy enough with that. At one point when I was £10 up I put it all on one hand, I ended up with two tens, deal dealt himself to 21 with 4 cards. Bastard.

Last one I went to, the big 'official' one was July/August. But it depends where you want to go. There is one at Nottingham Castle, and one in Sherwood Forest...

I'd want to go to an "official" one, but also Sherwood Forest makes me happy just thinking about it.
