Ratatouille

Who thinks this is one of the best Pixar movies yet? To be honest, I don't think they've gone wrong yet. But this movie was exceptionally done. The music was fantastic and while the themes were plenty predictable, they did it in such a way that it was enjoyable. (Let's face it, some level of predictability is necessary for movies.) I couldn't be happier with how this movie turned out. It may be my favorite Pixar movie yet.
I also think very highly of ending credits. My all-time favorite so far had been the end credits to A Series of Unfortunate Events, but after seeing Ratatouille's combined with the music, there's now a tie. The music is what makes this movie. Michael Giaccino does it again! (You know he did the music to Space Mountain at Disneyland?) It makes me very happy that great music like this is reaching the ears of millions of younglings. There is hope for future generations and their music.
(And for anyone who's heard the music.. do the ending credits sound a bit like "Higgitus-Figgitus"?)

I wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was. I should really just stop setting expectations for Pixar because they amaze me with every movie they make.
I was expecting Cars to be crap too, but that was good. I'm excited for that other Pixar that's coming next year-- Wall-E was it?

Yeah.. the robot one. Should be interesting.
I think as far as the Pixar movies goes, A Bug's Life was my least favorite. But I'm glad someone else appreciates it as much as I do. I love that little rat.
You know what else was cool? The romance wasn't over the top or overly silly. It was enjoyable romance in a kid's movie. Awesome!

Pixar have done many movies I liked. Seems Disney can't make anything decent without working with them.

Well the first Pirates Movie was good and non-Pixar, so the statement isn't entirely true.
I want to see it, but I don't think I'll get a chance until the weekend after this one.

I think you just offended me in the biggest way possible.
Peter Pan
Robin Hood
Sword in the Stone
Jungle Book
Aladdin
I won't go on listing all the others, those are sufficient evidence. However, if you were referring to sequels or some of the newer Disney channel features, you'd be correct. But otherwise, I disagree

Perhaps I should have added a 'nowadays' to that post. I have many Disney movies I like, but nothing much has come from them of the same caliber since Lion King...

The Lion King rocks, burn anyone who disagrees.
Really want to see the stage version.
