I mostly play on tremulous.tjw.org. I like his experimental game changes. Sometimes I get on Virginia and Boom Boom. Gotta love US servers. I'm grayshirtninja.

It would help to mention the name of the game you're talking about.

a laggy dretch
|AoD|AppleCore
iMara
MaraHunter
I have been known to play under 10fps.

Oh. That's right. Dune. Heh-heh. I see what you were driving at. Actually, Marauders don't have shields. None of the aliens do.

Slight? With dretches, you can see something sitting next (turn right 90 degrees) to you, and more. I once sat in a vent in Karith where the (s1) humans couldn't get me, and could see both exits to the vent by looking at the side of it.

Which vent? The one at the top of the pillar room or the one that goes from the useless catwalk to the stairs room?

not that I know of. I play it all the time. Of course, I've got nothing to compare it to, but it seems fine to me.

I couldn't get the clickwheel to work. Aside from that, I didn't notice anything about it.

The clickwheel doesn't work, but its not a problem if you bind properly. I never need it. I bind 1 to grenade, 2 to jetpack, and 3 to medkit. Works perfectly well. Reloading manually ® is faster than auto-reload.

Sprinting is limited by stamina. Use wisely. Don't sprint for the heck of it.

The clickwheel works perfectly on intel macs.

I usually play on DarkLurker, or Virginia tech/Beer Trem/Boom Boom if Darklurker is full or empty. Failling that I'll play on one of the mega-servers (SST, Dretch Storm, AVALANCHE, etc.) depending on ping time.

MG's domination server was fun while it was up, too bad they took it down. What do you guys think of the 1.2 changes in general? I think the adv lisk is a bit overpowered, but in general the regen changes for aliens help the balance a lot.

Though it's cool if you keep running after you run out of stamina; you'll black out for a few seconds.

If you don't stop running, you won't 'regain consciousness' until some alien comes by and takes your head off.

1.2 isn't out yet, and I have yet to black out in trem. Thats probably because I only sprint when I'm running away from the enemy.

I still get lost when playing transit. I've had to suicide a few times to find my way back to base.

You should practice bot hsides if you can, using auto select to pick a team. Personally, I can't play as aliens b/c of the sight distortion.
