I am currently not in a position to be writing widgets. Especially not Dashboard widgets.
You put what in my Power Mac?

For all those not running OS 10.4, you can use Konfabulator. It's basically the same thing if you set it up right. I also heard a rumor on digg that it will soon support OS X widgets.

Erm, didn't the Tiger widgets kinda replace any need for Konfabulator? Correct me if I'm wrong, but it sounds like using Tiger widgets in Tiger is more effective than using Tiger widgets in a 3rd party app. Also, I find making widgets for Dashboard far simpler (And reaching a greater audience) than making Konfabulator widgets.

Mac OS X Widgets are coming to KDE 4 and soon gnome
KDE has had Superkaramba (2-3 years now)
gnome has had gDesktop (2 years now)

You missed the part where he said "for those of you not running Tiger." There is a significant number of people that aren't running Tiger.

I'm fairly sure that the non-Tiger macintosh users greatly outnumber the Tiger users.
