/me goes back to defending ATT/#att, and maybe Coldstone.

Someone woke up the Coldstone gods, Tarn has called in for supermoderator reinforcements, so I don't think that'll be necessary.

Okay. Back to ATT/#att, where I have an evil army of robot-controlled HECTORS.

You'll have to do that on the Avara board, Cythera uses 2D sprites.

/me gets the feeling that v.2.1 is going to have plasma shields, preventing my 200kg HECTORS from doing anything but jumping on them. Or a complete and total frag with nades.

Wouldn't this only work if we got a place in their void as well? I mean it'd hardly be an even arrangement if they got to stay here, but we didn't get to go there. On the other hand, I don't really want to...so I have a proposal. They may remain here if they agree to become Cytheran citizens, otherwise we're back to fighting over it.

(Requirements for Cytheran citizenship to follow if interest is expressed, and my fellow Cytherans agree.)

Oh, and under this proposal, I also say they should rename the topic. Maybe, something like "Becoming a Cytheran Citizen".

Edit: Um, why are none of the tags in my post working?

Because I disabled them in an attempt to deter intruders.

And I don't know if we can take their void, half of the voids have been shut down in response to this outbreak of infectous evers.

How many people do you think would pass up the opportunity to go about killing six-legged geckos?

You're protecting the Geckos?

*wipes away tear*

You're more devoted than I gave your credit for, and with a HECTOR, the weapon of choice of our long-time allies, the Avarans, to boot. Your acceptance as a cytherian may not be far off.

Actually, I've found that smashing the geckos with a bonecrunching sound will yield upwards of twenty experience points.

It might help your case if you hadn't come and tried to take this void over. On the other hand, I am an ATTer, and can't speak for the Cythera boards.

I retract my previous statements of aggression, and seeing as how they both do and do not exist, I propose their supposition of states to make them Void.

I think edwards said it best:

"I actually don't mind this closing as much now as I would have a few months ago. When I arrived, this was a quiet place, where you could find an intellectual discussion of whether the Federation or Confederation was better, or run into Schrodinger's cat drinking Saalian Brandy in the bar. But recently, the bar has been overrun by one-line posts and general attempts at murder, the conversations have been flooded out by pointless one-line threads, and the Void has generally become just another "post your random thoughts here" place."

If you want one-line murder troll topics, or random land-grabs in the name of #ev3, make one on the B&B. If the void discussion becomes reasonably civil and worthwhile and another place to just not spam random stuff, it'll probably last until the administrators figure out how to remove all of the voids without screwing up invision.

I should also point out that the Cythera Board has very little traffic, so anyone wandering the board index is most probably going to find the last post is for a topic from the void. Which means the Cythera void won't be nearly as exclusive as say the EV void or the general ambrosia void.

I can see your point.

Ever try posting in the "Ambrosia Web Boards" void? You can't. Admin have locked that void now and forever. Besides, you never would see that anybody has even posted in that void, because it's a superforum. Perhaps leaving the "Older Ambrosia Games" forums open would be better, because nobody would even see that somebody had posted a topic there. Even leaving the Ares void open wouldn't be too bad, because Trash Talk is VERY active right now, and the void posts wouldn't show up quite so well.
