Ska's cool.. Does Dashboard Confessional count?
Movie soundtracks are something I've really gotten into lately, I've even started writing my own film scores...however terrible they may be.

I've been on a big Nine Inch Nails kick recently, but I'm starting to get into Coldplay, and the new Gorillaz album is quite good. Waiting patiently for the new Foo Fighters double album in a couple weeks.

I'm the one who got this guy into NIN *and* coldplay. My tastes tend to vary-- those two bands themselves are pretty varied. I also like evanescence and though I get a lot of ridicule for it, I like linkin park and korn. Rock, some poppish stuff, orchestral soundtracks, anyone here heard of Mahavishnu Orchestra? 70's jazz-rock-classical fusion. very good.

I'm into pretty much everything except country, rap, pop punk (Blink 182, Simple Plan, s###ty stuff like that), teeny bopper crap and boy bands.  Jazz, hardcore punk, rock, metal, emo, showtunes, big band/swing, classical...I love it all.
Damn hella frickin', I love ska.

Have you heard of The Hurt Process? They confuse me...one song they're all acoustic and sound like Simon & Garfunkle and the next song, they make Swedish speed metal sound like Bach. Its crazy....

Everyone must go and listen to William Shatner (especially "I cant get behind that" for the uninitiated) and Scatman John, RIGHT NOW.
