How do you like the new boards? Andrew told me this was coming.

Ares has officially been marginalized.

I was thinking he'd merge some boards (like the Briefing Room and Officer's Club), rather than simply merge categories. This way makes it a bit more difficult to check an exact subforum without looking at it directly. Especially with the "minimize category" option on the index page, its not like the extra forums on the main page were that obtrusive, one could simply not display all forums for a particular category (like I do with the FAQ).

I like the change. It's a bit more organized, but I agree with Av. Briefing Room and Officer's Club probably have a combined total of one active topic.

Andrew said more changes are coming, which hopefully means more colors!

When I first saw it I thought, "Oh <insert explicative of choice here> ATT has been deleted" because it was under a minimised category. I then saw it in the jump menu and found the Ares boards as a whole.

I like the other set up because you could just minimise the categories you didn't want to see. As I did with all but the "Justs" "Ares" and "EV" boards.

It sucks. TT is not a sub forum.

Since I keep Trash Talk my homepage and also have it as a bookmark, i've only seen the forum home like twice.

I usually start off either in Just Chat or the B&B so I usually just use the jump menu to get here (or anywhere else, for that matter) so I really see no difference.

I always enter the boards through ATT, as I have since Nov of '01. I did think the change was odd, maybe a little funny, but I'm not worried. I'd guess that the other boards may eventually be deleted but Trash Talk may be allowed to live on. Either way, does it actually matter?

I didn't even notice the change until I looked up on ATT and saw the "Older Ambrosia Games" link.

The EV Board is my homepage, but I might change it to this or BnB.

I keep the full suite in my bookmarks bar, along with some quick links for the boards I go to most:

I'm with Trah on this one, Trash Talk deserves its rightful place as a completely seperate topic. Actually it deserves its own site. scratch that it deserves its own trash talk devoted second internet. :P

We need a Trash Talk convention to be held every now and again. Too bad only some thirty or less people would show up. Don't the people on the BnB do that? Like PikeMeet and GuapoMeet?

Since half of us live in the same place, it happens on a small scale every day. LOBF came to visit us once, and I think Shrout will be. Moony told me someone else was too but I can't remember who.

But, yes, sometime we should try to have a meeting of everyone. But, it's not likely to happen, at least not any time soon. Maybe sometimes during the summer....

All I want is the bright colors to go back to the old colors.

Edit: And I somehow doubt a ATT convention, people who are young's parents would probably woudln't approve of one of us going to wyoming to meet people we've only seen in pictures and chatted to online. And I made wyoming up, in case you were wondering.

They live in Reno, Nevada. And high gas prices discourage travel.
