I tried fire, but couldn't get used to it. I don't use my MSN screen name very much, so haven't really looked too hard for a replacement.

As far as IRC goes, Snak > *

And in my dock I have:

Fire, iChat, Adium, MSN, Yahoo, AIM and Snak. Just for quick access.

Also, does anyone know of a mac program that runs MSN, but lets you use webcams? Seeing as microsoft seem a little reluctant to update the MSN Messenger for Mac...

Alright I am now officially turning this into a "what the hell is in yo' dock" topic.

I have, from left to right, Finder, System Prefs, Graphing Calculator, Safari, Firefox, iChat, Fire, XChat, Mail, Transmit, iTunes, iCal, Sherlock, GIMP, Lightwave, GraphicsConverter, iPhoto, Terragen,iMovie, Audacity, Wings, RezConvertor, EVONE, iNova, MissionComputer, XCode, Textwrangler, NeoOfficeJ, EV:Nova, then Applications folder, Trash. :P

Oh, XChat pwns all other for IRC. It is the grandady of all *nix IRC programs.

As far as IM programs go, I like Proteus a lot. It has replaced iChat in my dock.

Actually I used Snak for about a year and a half on ev3, then I switched to X-Chat which is so so so much better.

And now I don't really use anything except msn. In fact, Safari, iPhoto, VLC, Acquisition, Bittorrent and MSN are pretty much the only programs I use.

Yeah, I got a bunch of his pictures from www.space.com and his website. He's a great artist, indeed.

Where'd you hear of him?

I considered IMing you, but the screenname I have for the boards here is too dead. I haven't used it in years.

Here's mine. My girlfriend photoshopped that desktop for me, along with 2 other similar ones that rotate around every hour or so. If the divider looks weird, it's because their meant to be viewed about 400 pixels apart, the amount of space between my two screens. It's a bit of an optical illusion too, the line looks curved.

In my dock I have Finder, System Preferences, Safari, Mail, iChat, Ircle, iTunes, QuickTime Player, iPhoto, iCal, Keynote, Pages, TextEdit, BBEdit Lite, Preview, Terminal, X11, Remote Desktop, Photoshop, NewsFire, Nicecast, Transmit, KDX Client, and KDX server.
In my menubar, I have WeatherPop, Konfabulator, Menu Meters, iChat, AirPort, Displays, Sound, Date & Time, and Cunning Fox.
