I know what he's from, but I can't remember his name. It's been way too long since Farscape showed here. Come to think of it, it's been way too long since we've had any decent sci-fi over here.

Its interesting to find out how many people enjoyed Farscape, I've gotten pmed by a few mods I never would have guessed were fans.

Anyway, since the miniseries airs tomorrow, I did some digging and found a clip that shows the season 4 finale. Supposedly the miniseries will have information for those that haven't seen the series before, but I don't know how much, and its nice to get a lead-in from how it ends. (though from the trailers, its highly likely at least portions of the ending will be shown again). File can be found here - not a direct link because the movie is so small, its better to download and play at 2-4x the size.

And obviously, as its a season finale, its got a some spoilers for the shows leading up to it. Then again, if you've been watching the TV commercials, there's just as many.

This was the first TS that I have participated in, and I think that it went pretty well. Probably all TSes could have turned out better once you look back on them.

Here's a few questions for those that haven't answered them yet. Even non-active participants can put in their opinions here. Feedback really does help, gives an idea on what is working and what isn't.

So, regardless of what you voted, or if you voted - what part of Echoes did you like best and why?

Likewise, what part or aspect of the story did you dislike the most and why?

I didn't read it closely enough to know what its good points where. However, I know what I liked the least was that it lacked a definitive direction at some points. You know from the beginning that the good guys are going to beat the bad guys (or if not, you should let everyone else know first). You should probably also know who the bad guys are - I know I saw Ur-Sylph pop up at one point, but the story really concerned itself with the Death King and two dragons (as far as I know).

Although I appreciate books with surprise endings, but a TS with all sorts of surprises is hard to handle. The fun of a TS should be in finding your way from point A to point B, not inventing point C in the middle.

Somehow I get the feeling I've repeated myself a couple times in this topic - but I'm too lazy to read my old posts and check.

I just read one of the posts on page 7 of the TS.... Dusk died. But it was deserved.
*sighs* I wish I had more commitment, when I come back from so long of not viewing these boards and remember how much fun they are.

From what I did read, that was a good TS.

My apologies to all those invovled in the TS for my lack of posts... not that apologies will make up for being so lazy.

You didn't die, must've misread something.

Sorry, Dusk. I meant to say "nearly killed". I'll edit it. Just so everyone knows, the explosion was just for drama. No characters died unless their members wanted them to die.

Oh, that's ok. I am hoping one of my characters will die dramaticly at some stage in my TS writing. I'm really looking forward to a Speed TS (if it is created). Being booted out of the TS if I don't post would be just the insentive I need.

I don't know if the STS idea is going to go or not. Actually, I think I'll start a poll to see what people think.
