I have almost killed everyone in Cythera, just had a problem with the beggers because they keep on appearing. I think i killed everyone in the LKH accept of the king, i have them all in my quarters and when ever i get lonely all i do is revive someone and talk to them (usually Hectors father because he has the most to say).

Hey! Is it Colin? I didn't realise you posted :P.

Yeah, I tend to get Meleager to carry around some one for me to talk to when I get bored.

There have been times that I've gone on world snuffing rampages, but I've never stored all the bodies before. Such horrors!

I like to do interesting things to the citizens of Cythera. For example wait untill lunch time at Phynx then go to the cafeteria and kill someone. Open their corpse and place a lit bomb in it. Lastly, reanimate them and let them be a suicide bomber. Great fun!!!

Wouldn't that get smelly?

Has anyone tried to kill any of the Seldane? Ignae? UrSylph? Posted Image
I guess my best would be ~15 full sea monsters with one fireball, took minutes for it to figure out what had died :-/. My attempts at Alaric didn't go so well...

It is impossibe to kill UrSlyph. I have tried many times and failed. Alaric is also impossible to kill. It is however possible to kill everyone in the world of Cythera using only a few spells. Casting fetch will destroy cities and thus help people be genocidal faster. Posted Image

UrSlyph doesn't do much damage, but has infinate health. I've never tried Alaric, though. What kind of damage does he do?

Ah, but does it destroy them, or mearly cut the plane of existance into two parts? They could go on living forever, for all we know. No, it it better to store the bodies somewhere just so you can keep track of them.

Is it proven in game mechanics that UrSylph can't be killed? *Thinks about how hard it is to hit a ghost*

I don't remember about Alaric, haven't tried in a while. Maybe I'll set up a network of bombs around his thrown and then... and then... *sigh*

I think tht i have killed Alaric before, if I remember correctly you instantly fail your quest. It does that same thing as if you die forever (eg. not wearing the necklace). I cant remember because it has been so long but i think Alaric can be killed. He doesn't do much damage but is really strong, I think.

Well, I suppose I shouldn't be too specific, but I think that the only way to "kill" Alaric is through storyline.

If you give i to one of your other members of your party (eg. Hector) then use shakedown of then they seem to stay in that position.

Today I Scylla (I dont know Im Scylla7 there is no other Scylla) beat the game. Now
Death will come to all those in the the land so the rebirth the Cult of Scylla can flourish.
The Cult of Scylla will arise from the ashes.

The Bodies as sugested by "Half Truth" will be put in LKH to rot for their defiance of the
Cult of Scylla.

P.S. "Half Truth" you can't kill magpie either Posted Image

I found that you cant even hurt Magpie and he kills you in 1 hit. I also found that in the newer versions of Cythera you cant kill the king. In one of the earlier versions you where able to kill the king. Posted Image.

I also found that you cant kill Ignae or Ursylph. I think that it could be cool if you could kill Ignae and then let Ursylph loose and see what he does and how if will effect you quest. I know that killing any of the pillars you destroy Cythera as we know it, but on the fiant chance that it doesn't. I would have just liked to have seen that it would have done.

I tried to kill Alaric once when he was in his research room (I got the mace and hacked the locked door down). I casted death strike on him, and... I can't remember, it was a long time since. Maybe I should try again.

I try and do my best to keep other people out of my screen vicinity, I tell my people to wait and then I go and kill some beggars. Killing beggars is fun, funny and i've often used them to make some experience to gain another experience level.

Aside from that, the only real innocent people I've ever killed from what I remember is the cheese merchant from Cademia. I don't really know why; I feel kind of sad now, she's never up there yelling out "Fine Cheese!" Oh well, I never really buy from those people, if I do it's from inns, etc etc. I don't want to go off-topic. Posted Image

Maybe I could try that trick, setting bombs in the way of Magpie or Alaric so that they get blown up... Or maybe cast a really devastating spell (a.k.a. fetch or death strike, fetch does work on people, does it?).

In the latest version (1.0.4) of Cythera you can't kill Alaric or Magpie any way that I have found yet. Not even bombs work.

I don't know if fetch works, but it defeats the purpose of carrying Alarics corpse around or stuffing it in desks.

Yeah, since this topic I've tried the few times I use my school's macs, trapping Alaric in a small area (that he can move around in) with the blocking runes and then throwing whatever I have at him. 4 bombs did nothing (I'm thinking of trying more like 40), spells don't work, and I can't even touch the bugger with spear prods from a safe distance.
