I saw in an old thread that you could lit all the braziers in the Landking hall in a correct order, then some light would appear.. What does this light do?

There are a few, but probably the most discriptive is
here (contains spoilers)

Reportedly, it doesn't do anything that usefull (just another quirk like the well in Pnyx), but my personal hope has something to do with the "unreachable" room in the west of LKH.

Well, perhaps if I created an exhaustive list and tried all the possible combinations of lighting them we'd come up with something...

*de-lurk*
You mean the white-floored one? The unreachible room is just that, unless you use the movement hack. All that is there is a blue crystal orb and a chest of drawers.

If you mean one that is blocked by a door, well, there is some interesting stuff in there, but you can get it with a simple bomb, no need to mess with the braziers.

Think of it as a riddle, figure it out, talk to the right people and reep your rewards.
The first part says " It is not in the lighting bolt that one finds knoledge". I think that this mean that you don't have to die to realise what life is all about and the greatest knoledge is knowing when to die. That is what i think it means, the secone part to it still confuses me. I will return.

I ment the first. Who knows? Remember Omen's test where the quick way to finish doesn't open until you crank the lever? Might be a similar thing.

Look for a thread a while back (Okay, years back) `Where no Cytherian has gone before', or something like that. There is also a tutorial on Slayer's site, linked to in his sig (and mine, for a long time), that will show you how to use the movement/teleportation hack.

Anyway, the result at the end of the day is that all the `inaccessible' places we knew of got visited, along with some that were discovered with the teleport hack. The kitchen in the stronghold (Slayer was there first), the `white room' (Visited by me), some `black areas' in Cademia, parts of the coastal temple with the hydra things, and so on.

Which isn't to say they aren't worth visiting yourself, of course - although the white room is the only one I know of that provides something more than strange sights. (You can pick up and take a blue orb, as I said previously. The kitchen might have stuff as well, I never visited it after Slayer didn't find anything good there. Ask him.)

A blue orb in the Land King hall? I've never found that...
What I have found, however, is that by taking a secret earthen passageway, you can find a hallway which takes you to a room that contains braziers, two pools, and a door which opens on the void. Does anyone know what this room is?

Wow, long time since I've had a chance to use that.

The room in LKH that opens onto the void is from Alaric's story. If you haven't gotten it all yet, stop reading.

Part of Alaric's story is that he spent a long time in that cave/room, probably many years, just staring out at the void. After he finished, he discovered his bond with the land. I think it was after that that he overthrew the Tyrant? Someone check me on that.

Heh, why not? Posted Image

And I agree, in terms of storyline your correct. bmac ment my first post on the thread for the non-storyline-related (maybe) discoveries.

Bryce, I ment the first as in the first option of the two given in your post, not the first person to go there. You said "the unreachable one is just that," and I was replying that you can't be sure. And I don't count external hacks as making things possible, why ruin a game that way?
