I found a fountain underneath the pykns (I never spell that correctly!) that allows you to make a wish. Any help on this would be appreciated.() ()(_)(+)

The whole fountain is a joke. There is no known "true" request. Keep on asking, though, and it will say funny stuff.

Where is this 'wishing fountain' you speak of?

I'll make sure to lose some sleep tonight (or whenever I get a response) trying to talk to a puddle Posted Image.

I'm pretty sure that it is in the dungeon under Pnyx, but I can't remember for sure. To get into that dungeon, move levers located behind a secret wall to the right of the portcullis. Then wander around, and you'll eventually get to it. Remember, this is just going off memory. Posted Image

And so the problem remained; lots of people were mean, and most of them were miserable, even the ones with digital watches. Many were increasingly of the opinion that they had all made a big mistake in coming down from the trees in the first place. And some said that the trees had been a bad move and that no one should ever have left the oceans. - Douglass Adams

Actually, there are four words that the Pnyx wish fountain will respond to... None are actually useful, and they are immediately overwritten by the default "Your wish is found elsewhere" answer, so they're almost impossible to read.

Pony - "Oh, that's original..."
Three - "You want three wishes? I don't think so..."
Coffee - "Seek ye Caribou" (author's favorite brand, I assume)
Tequila - "Galardon - 100% blue agave Anejo"

I stumbled across "Three" by accident (trying out words from Magpie's riddle about land and sea). Given one known word, I was able to dig out the complete list with MacsBug.

Although I ordinarily discourage reviving such ancient topics, in this case the information is so new that I am really quite pleased. Excellent work, Jason Harper.

I hate that fountain. It should serve some real purpose, not just mock people with its easter egg status.

Ahem. I would like to know where this buried treasure is. I heard a rumor of it once, and I saw something in Slayer's site about buried treasure, but I don't know where it is. Would any of you mind telling me? Screenshots would also be great if that is vital to proof.

Its scary how much some people change in what seems so short of a time.

It's scary how this seems to be quickly floating off topic, as if digging up an old thread weren't bad enough. Padlock, please! Posted Image

It's scary how often some people's words seem to mean more than they say.
