Fortunately for Dawn, she saw the incoming dog (with its tail on fire), jumped out of the zeppelin, and very fortunately happened to land in a Cademian mattress store. Unfortunately for Dark, Dusk, and Night, Dawn didn't tell them of her observation, nor did they notice the dog...
