I wasn't sure that this day would ever come, but now it has. The chronicle which has become legendary has finally been released. Known to most of you simply as THAT chronicle, or The Chronicle Which Must Not Be Named, it is finally out in the open for all to see. It has been waiting in the queue for over two years. Grapper brings us (Introduction)Grapper's Return. This is an example of a chronicle that should probably have been deleted. It's much MUCH too short, and it is poorly written. I encourage all of you to gaze upon it and learn what NOT to do when writing chronicles. Read it here. It won't take much time.

Something else about this you might find interesting are the moderator comments which have been accumulating for these past two years. I've decided to leave them attached for historical interest. It will give you a rare, behind the scenes glimpse of the moderators at work. Although the comments are uniformly negative, I would like to point out one positive aspect of the story. Grapper's Return does stay set undeniably in the world of the game.

Now the queue is completely empty for nearly the first time ever. Submit more stories! I would like to note at this point that if the quality of your submission is anywhere near as low as that of this chronicle, it will be deleted. Take it upon yourself to prevent atrocities like this from happening again!

(Interestingly enough, this announcement is longer than the chronicle)

"The libertarian roots of the Internet run deep. It was the place where innovation trumped experience, where the little guy had as big a megaphone as the largest network, where the small business could reach a global market, where the public could regulate far better than any government.
"No one imagined that the megaphone would become so loud or that it would speak so often of penis enlargement pills and opportunities for unusual financial transactions in Nigeria."
