I thought I'd answer any questions that people might have, sooner or later someone would notice the post count dropped by over 40. Yes, I went through the tavern topic, like we do with all topics before we decide to archive them, and deleted the unnecessary ooc or other really bad posts. For example, just about the entire original page two had to go, as it was full of a lot of flaming, complaining, and other unnecessary stuff - for the most part over the spelling problems of Pippin and Ramir, which is not really the kind of content you want to engrave forever into an archive for everyone to read. Also, I got rid of the really old posts only saying something like "I'm gone for a week" - which is rather irrelevant, since its no longer October 2002 or other such dates.
If you have any questions, post them here or email me (link above, be careful though: after 6/30 that @attbi.com is changing to @comcast.net). Also, if you think I missed something, post it here also - we missed a few posts when we were cleaning some of the other topics in the archives, so it never hurts to give everything a second look.
I did not touch any posts with in-character content in them, and this time around I did not prune ooc messages in content posts.

I never knew moderators had the power to do that *awe struck*...
Does this mean the new tavern (7) will be shut down or added to the old one or something, or just stay as it is?

I don't think you can really add posts to older topics (without one person copy and pasting everything), so the new tavern will most likely continue as it is.
