I've been gone for nearly a month. I was touring North America. (Primarily the US and Canada, my Visit to Mexico was rather breif.) I'm back now. Thanks.

Welcome back...and yes, I noticed you did seem silent.

Touring? Are you some sort of performer, or was it just a road trip for fun kind of thing? A few years ago my extended family and I all caravaned up to Alaska and back. Did you happen to make it to Alaska?

My tour was of a vacation nature, not a performing tour. I did not make it to Alaska, we went a southernly route from California down to Warez, (War-ez, a city in Mexico, not Ware-z, stolen software ) and then up through Ohio and New York, finally terminating in Ontario. (Canada. No, we did not visit Toronto Canada or contract SARS while there...). We then headed back through NY/OH and then returned home through midwest.
I did not get to spend as much time in Mexico as I would have hoped, but at least I got to see it. I even saw some real illegal immigration in progress while waiting to enter customs...

Blah! Nobody likes Toronto anymore! My brother was in Toronto just the other month and he's perfectly fine. I'm even wearing a shirt from Toronto right now. You're all just biased!!
And there's nothing wrong with Alberta either. I have cousins there and none of them have contracted mad cow disease.

I'm a vegetarian anyway, so I don't have to worry about that anyway
I rather liked Canada, and although I would not want to live there because of the political climate, I'll certainly consider visiting again some day.
Edit - oh yeah, Dana is my new account. Just in case someone hasn't figured that out already...

Right, I should say my new TS account is Dana. I intend to retain this one as my main account - my posts as Dana for general-use things on this board are unintentional.
