My apologies for my extended and unexpected absence, my internet connection apparently decided I needed a 2-week downtime. It's still pretty unreliable, but my DSL connection should be coming online in a few days, which will hopefully improve matters.
I'll vote when I've had a chance to catch up on my reading.
