This month we had one chronicle submission. It was:

The Call of Destiny by Mr. Somebody

I have decided that it would be contrary to the spirit of the chronicle of the month contest to allow a winner with no competition. The contest is, after all, intended to stimulate interest in chronicles! Thus, the following modification has been made to the rules:

Quote

Originally written in the official rules:
In the event that fewer than two chronicles
are eligible to be chronicle of the month, there will be no winner that month. The lone chronicle, if one exists, will go on to be eligible the following month.

It doesn't seem right to me that Mr. Somebody could submit the only chronicle in a month and not be recognized for it, so he has been awarded an honorable mention for the month of December. The updated chronicle of the month page is here.

Heh, sorry I haven't finished my chron for coldstone yet - I've been too busy to give the attention it deserves to it, as a 'serious' chron. I did do some work on my non-serious chron today, though.

Oh, it's no problem. I'm throwing a log on the funeral pyre tonight, if you finish your own cron at all it will be a blessing. By the way, if anyone's interested, the CS crons have just received an entry even worse than Grapper's famous one. Not for the faint of heart.

That does beat out Grapper's return quite well. And I thought my stories moved to fast... that one moved too fast - backwards. Posted Image
