I have decided that it would be contrary to the spirit of the chronicle of the month contest to allow a winner with no competition. The contest is, after all, intended to stimulate interest in chronicles! Thus, the following modification has been made to the [url="http://"http://www.macclassics.com/cythera/cotmrule.htm"]rules[/url]:

It doesn't seem right to me that Mr. Somebody could submit the only chronicle in a month and not be recognized for it, so he has been awarded an honorable mention for the month of December.
