What is the deal with the big pool in LandKing Hall, and why does the earth begin to shake when the hero first enters it. I thought it had something to do with the Undines, but I am not sure. Can anyone explain this?

The pool I believe is there simply for decoration. The shaking, I'm pretty sure, is an earthquake. You can see the damage it causes by going through the door to the south to the late gaurd training area.
Hope that helps.

I thought it had some deep mysterious meaning, like the pool was connected to the sea, and the sea makes the earth shake because the hero has entered the room. It is kind of strange that the earthquake only happens once the hero walks in, don't you think?
Never mind...

I always figured that it was just supposed to be coincidence, but I suppose the connection to the sea would be a more satisfying explanation.
