(a) there are around four topics in this whole thread
( half of them seem to be about totally basic things.
© Cythera is such a small world with so few people. I quit playing (for now) because I have ran out of interest. (Hmm, maybe I shouldn't have cheated...)
Does this board have any purpose? (By the way, this is not a completely serious post, and I realize that it is valid to help newbies with the game since cheating makes it so much less fun. I hope it at least provides an interesting topic.)

That depends on your view settings. It appears you have yours set on "view active topics from the last day" or a rather small increment of time similar to that. In fact, there are 1,309 topics on this webboard, though most have ceased to be active long ago.
Its true, this board isn't overly as active and fast-paced as most of the other boards around here, but there are people that post here, and interesting topics from time to time.

Avatara is right in saying that this board is slower then most, but I don't really think that's a bad thing. It alows lazy posters (like myself ) to keep on top of things. I've tried posting under various aliases on different boards, but found Cythera webboard to be the most calm, collected, interesting board. Why not stay and enjoy yourself? We could do with some more members .
BTW: Welcome to the boards!

The only Ares board that's particularly active is Trash Talk, since it has nothing to do with Ares. The Officer's club *literally* has only four topics, and the Engineering Dept is down to 3. (Assuming the 20-day filter)

I never said it was, I'm just saying there are less people active on this board than others. And those people also have stuff to do from time to time, so there are days where nobody posts at all. (and others where there's lots of activity in insane quantities)
Actually, a small community is good, as long as there are enough people joining to balance out the people moving on to other things. In a small community, its easier to get along with the other people, and usually the smaller boards turn out to have more of a "welcoming" feel to them than other boards.

Ooh! Ooh! I wanna be a beta tester!
Does a small community being good mean that Cythera is better off having very few people? I kind of wish it had more people and a more extensive story line... (Maybe the "future projects" will contain these things...)

That could be true, but it might be too much to hope that it is a Cythera game. On the other hand, if he's looking for members of the Cythera web board, this could very well be the case.

Now that'd be something I'd never turn down. Plus, you wouldn't want to go to any other board, imagine getting info from the EV:N boards about beta testing:
EV:N
Gandreas: I'm looking for some beta testers for a new game, much like Cythera. Please email if you are interesting.
5 minutes and 50 posts later
nOOb: I cant do the vellos storyline. are you ment to not be able to buy teh wepons?

Most people are in some way interesting, but that does not exactly make them good testers. Perhaps 'Please email if you are interested' might have been better

No, it looks like it could be a typo. But since my entire post would be pointless if there had been no typo, I won't be editing it. Don't worry though, we all make typos from time to tine
