In the cave where you find the Timeflux book there is a small Shrine. Does this place do anything or is it just a deceration?

I'm not sure, seeing as I haven't got that far in Cythera. If you are really desperate I suggest going to [url="http://"http://www.macclassics.com/cythera/cythera.htm"]Slayer's guide[/url] he's got a lot of info there. Just as a warning; There are tons of spoilers there. Hope this helps.

You may mean the pedastal, which when used in conjunction with the speicial device (and a lot of patience) will open the door near by... I think

My guess is it is either A) an undine structure or 
Idominius' (sp) storehouse
Just another unexplained mystery to add to the list of things for a possible Cythera 2.
