Refusing Karma
#1

I realise in saying this is pretty much the same as arguing with a moderator, which would, inevitably, stuff up the whole moderator / karma system.
Is it ok to refuse karma?
What are your thoughts on the situation?

And, take a look at Heidel. http://www.AmbrosiaS...UserName=Heidel
46 posts, 9 karma. Cool, yes?
I got my first karma point (And second) not to far from your post count (And time on the boards), and so did many other members. It just seems a little unusual from the point of view of other boards. So, enjoy your karma point, you probobly deserve it. And, if you don't want it, you can redeem it for one free flame or spam on a strict board.

Water doesn't have to be that deep to feed you to carnivorous fish. Hell, there's less area for you to swim if it's only 20 feet deep or so.

I recently received a karma point from Avatara, but do I deserve it?
You do. It's not about how long you've been here, it's about what you're doing here. You deserved a Karma point for those posts in the Tavern (I don't think I ever told youI liked the way you had Moonshadow act, did I?).
I also think you deserve to be slapped for complaining (for no reason whatsoever that I can see), though.

Is it ok to refuse karma?
Basically, yes, I suppose, if the Karma point is undeserved. Which, in this case, it isn't.

A slapping? That'd suit me just fine! Heh. Since everyone here thinks I deserve the karma I'll stop complaining.

Sorry forge, it was a bad Cythera joke. A particular bug means that you can't go fishing because "The water isn't deep enough".

Early one morning, late one night, two dead boys arose to fight. Back to back they faced each other, drew their swords and shot each other. The deaf man heard the noise and came, and killed the two dead boys. If you don't believe this lie is true, ask the blind man, he saw it too.

Precisly what I had tried to mention before. Dusk, you've been here for almost no time (relatively speaking), but treat the board and the characters in it as one of those that has been here since the beginning. I think it touched all of us. Heck, if I had been a mod, I probably would have given you a point on your second post (and no, I don't think I'm not a mod because of such things like that. Only once before have I thought this of someone).
If these retorts are at all biting, I didn't think I deserved my karma points either. And I still don't. I feel especially bad that I have them when I have barely been here for the last year.

I've only seen a little of your posts Theo, and as far as I can see, you deserve your karma. No need to sigh, and I doubt anyone will slap you.
