I recently received a karma point from Avatara, but do I deserve it? In my opion, no. Sixty Six posts, I've been here for hardly any time at all.
I realise in saying this is pretty much the same as arguing with a moderator, which would, inevitably, stuff up the whole moderator / karma system.
Is it ok to refuse karma?
What are your thoughts on the situation?

Don't rock the boat. (I should talk Posted Image )

And, take a look at Heidel. http://www.AmbrosiaS...UserName=Heidel
46 posts, 9 karma. Cool, yes?

I got my first karma point (And second) not to far from your post count (And time on the boards), and so did many other members. It just seems a little unusual from the point of view of other boards. So, enjoy your karma point, you probobly deserve it. And, if you don't want it, you can redeem it for one free flame or spam on a strict board. Posted Image

You may have only been here a short time, Dusk, but you've done an excellent job so far. Your karma is deserved.

I agree Dusk, your karma is deserved. For helping-and trying to help-people and being a positive and contributing member of this board.

Water doesn't have to be that deep to feed you to carnivorous fish. Hell, there's less area for you to swim if it's only 20 feet deep or so.

You do. It's not about how long you've been here, it's about what you're doing here. You deserved a Karma point for those posts in the Tavern (I don't think I ever told youI liked the way you had Moonshadow act, did I?).
I also think you deserve to be slapped for complaining (for no reason whatsoever that I can see), though. Posted Image

Is it ok to refuse karma?

Basically, yes, I suppose, if the Karma point is undeserved. Which, in this case, it isn't.

A slapping? That'd suit me just fine! Heh. Since everyone here thinks I deserve the karma I'll stop complaining.

Sorry forge, it was a bad Cythera joke. A particular bug means that you can't go fishing because "The water isn't deep enough".

Precisly what I had tried to mention before. Dusk, you've been here for almost no time (relatively speaking), but treat the board and the characters in it as one of those that has been here since the beginning. I think it touched all of us. Heck, if I had been a mod, I probably would have given you a point on your second post (and no, I don't think I'm not a mod because of such things like that. Only once before have I thought this of someone).

If these retorts are at all biting, I didn't think I deserved my karma points either. And I still don't. I feel especially bad that I have them when I have barely been here for the last year. Posted Image

Thanks, Posted Image.
I've only seen a little of your posts Theo, and as far as I can see, you deserve your karma. No need to sigh, and I doubt anyone will slap you.

This is a bit belated, since I've been away, but I agree with everybody else - your posts have been excellent, and the karma point is well deserved.
