Then, in that case, welcome! Always remember, Slayer's Guide IS the ultimate resource. The link is in Slayer's signature. Posted Image

"Thank you for buying our game, here's an instruction manual on how to do everything without thinking for yourself or enjoying the storyline."

Seriously, it might be best to post that link after (s)he decides they are irrevocably stuck on some part of the game, not before. Slayer's Guide should only be used to help with the difficult parts, not as a manual to play the game - after all what's the point of buying a game if you are just going to read how to do everything?

Just got done playing about an hour of Cythera, it's great. Can't wait to get back to it. And don't worry I won't use the slayer's guide unless I get stuck Posted Image. I love games with storylines so I won't spoil it by reading the guide. But thanks for the offer and for the replies. And by the way, Cythera is a great game so if there are any people here who have not bought the game yet you should. Because you won't regret it. I've never played a game that let you ask so much stuff to the people. I mean it's like endless talking you can always ask questions, then there are more things you can ask. So great game Ambrosia. Now if only I could create a game as good as this with my Coldstone. Posted Image

(Endless sentences, too...) Actually, I get enough endless talking from my friends, thanks.

I think he ment 'the "slayer's guide"' like 'the computer manual'.

Yeah, I definitely recommend trying to complete everything without the guide...and at the same time, I'm very happy it was available to me. Posted Image

I was refering to the "Slayer's Guide" as like a computer manual. Not in any other way.

Uh... you're arguing over a friggin' capital letter and you didn't even welcome them to the board! Welcome to the boards. :P

Thank you Talos I appreciate that. Thank you very much. Hope to talk with all of you very soon. And I hope to be writing chronicals soon also... but then again I don't know since Cythera seems soooo big. Posted Image

No, I think it is a promotion. With a capital letter you are something speicial, something that is commonly know to be like that.
If I was to say, "I am to meet the president tommorow" the particular president would be so well know (s)he would not need his/her title re-enforced by a capital letter. Hence the lower case slayer is an indicator that Slayer is so well known that a capital is no longer needed to recognise him.... maybe Posted Image

Hmm. Actually I wasn't even thinking about the capital letter; more so, I was commenting on the presence of a determiner where it wouldn't normally be.

"I am meeting the slayer tomorrow."

I think in this case, using it that way is bad. Just hope you live through your meeting.

Wow all this fuss over me not putting a capital letter for "Slayer"? I never saw that coming...
