I could not find this using the search feature, so I will assume that it has not been brought up before (crosses fingers). The Pandora's Box cheat works quite well on Oboloi, and other physical items. However, I discovered a slight quirk when using this method. For example: If you are carrying 20 oboloi and tell Pandora's Box to look for "20" (By the way, Oboloi are stored as a "short" number, max of 32767), then it will find the twenty oboloi you have. However, if you remove 5 oboloi to change the number, then Pandora's box will register the oboloi as having changed to five, rather than fifteen. That is, the number always changes to what it removed, not what remains. Note that it will also register a change if you just move the five oboloi into another carrying area rather than ditching them. That is, moving them from inventory to a pouch you're carrying. This is fairly useful, as you do not have to use the carry more than you can lift cheat, and move the oboloi 255 at a time. Most other items are stored in "byte" format, and I've yet to find a "numbered" item(that is, if you have more than one, it will display the number under the item's picture, rather than showing multiple picutes) that this doesn't work on. If you found the above incredibly obvious, feel free to stone me now.

Nah, I never used pandora's box for it, though in my (now rather old) cyhthera hack topics, I talked about using Hexedit to increse the number of uses ungent had, and things like that.

btw, though, a short can be either 0-65535 or -32767 to 32767, not 0-32767

What is Pandora's Box? I mean, not the legend, but the cheat concept. And does the extra stuff take up more inventory space?

Slayer has a link and I believe a tutorial for Pandora's Box on his site. Yes, it does take up extra space, but if you use the carry more than you can lift cheat (Also on Slayer's site), then it doesn't really matter.
