Yes. How? Well...
Pretty much, you need to make sure your fighters are pretty well levelled. It also helps if your hero can cast Death Strike. I think the Odd Helms may also be useful, since they give a bit of protection against magical attack.

Yes, and yes. Well, you can talk to him as much as the game allows interaction with Omen, which is only in certain places at certain times, and only on certain subjects. As far as I can recall, he's the only one you actually meet in the game - although there is a half-undine running around; I won't spoil things by telling you who

That's ok, but Bahoudin talks about Seldane things and not undine things. This is for chronicle research, I have already beat the game.

Ah! Then your best source of info would be the chronicles and TSs written by members of the Cytheran community that touch on things Undine, unless Glenn wants to add something about a few of his sources of mythology.
