3 questions for all of you Cythera fanatics:
There is a fountain under Pynx near where you find the gauntlets and crystal balls, that when clicked on enough times, asks you what your wish is. I responded with oboloi (it was a choice between that and food) and got the answer "Your wish is found elsewhere." Unfortunately I could only make one wish. Anybody know what the heck this thing is there for and where is my stinkin oboloi?
How do you get Demodocus to join your party? is it only in a Cythera beta screenshot?
When does Atheon teach you the missle skill? I have been waiting and waiting and he doesn't offer any skillz!!!

It took a couple of years, but when their numbers dwindled from 50 to 8, the other dwarves began to suspect Hungry.

okay…
1. As far as I know, the wishing fountain is a 'red herring'
2. Demodocus doesn't join your party.
3.I wasn't aware that Aethron taught missle skills.[edit] , okay checked Slayer's page, it says he does but I can't recall him ever teaching to me.[edit]
And, Welcome to Cythera

The Cythera beta screenshot that shows the extra party member may not even be Demodocus. It was initially believed to be an entirely different member that was cut out of the final storyline.
The fountain was probably a cool idea gandreas came up with, but flaked on including the actual stuff. Either that or it was meant to be taken out but the text and trigger were left it by mistake.
If I'm not mistaken, Aethon's ex-boss (can't remember the name) teaches you the missile skill after you become a member.

That would be Eteocles, but Slayer's guide says Aethon teaches you the missile skill. Hmm...
A witty saying proves nothing.

I went down there too (before I read this topic) and I thought maybe the fountain would power up my mana because I had used it all on killing the demon and needed to remove the mage lock on the chest, but then the fountain asked me to make a wish. I wished for "mana" and it said "your wish is to found elsewhere"...
Just click on the fountain a few mmore times it gives quotes that are quite funny...

Sorry but he will never leave your party, ever. You just can't make him leave

You can mess with the AI, like I did (albeit by chance), and make everyone go crazy.
Suffice it to say Melager and Atheon resoloved their diffrences without words.
