New Chronicles 3/3/02

Um, explain. Do you mean a Chronicle or a Team Story. If Chronicle, what do you mean by "Feel free to jump in at any time" and also, you submit a story in cythera cron page, generally not starting a topic on the Cythera Board. If your starting a Team Story, first you should talk some people, like cache22, Tyrael, MoonShadow, Kat, Bryce, ferazel etc. and get their advice. Team Stories require a lot of planning, so its not anything to rush into. Oh, and welcome to the boards! (though I'm sure its already been said)

Also, this comes very close to what I was saying about respecting what other posters have appropriated to their characters. At present, there are only two known airships in Cythera. One, the first, belongs to Wolmark, one of my characters (the first inventor to appear in Cythera for centuries.) The other, of a radically different design, belongs to Talm, one of Bryce's characters. Bryce had the courtesy to check with me if I minded Talm having an airship before going ahead, an action I greatly appreciated.
However, since the inventive-type intellect has been so rare in Cytheran history, having a third inventor suddenly show up at this time would be stretching things a bit, although it wouldn't be totally outside the realms of possibility. One other possible source of such an airship would be Bryce's race of Air-Castle dwellers; but they disappeared long ago, and the Air-Castle itself has now been destroyed. Nobody should use them without Bryce's permission, anyway.
I should also probably reiterate some advice I've given before: wait until you've participated in a couple of team stories before you try to start one. That will give you both experience, and a feel for how we do things, and so help to avoid disappointment all round.
If you're keen to get involved in another team story, I have one in mind; I'm just waiting for 'The Sorcery Tower' to finally wrap up before introducing it.

I was talking about airships and zeppelins, I never said anything about people flying. Ferazel also has a flight spell, now. Or were you saying you'd like to add that ability to the restricted list? (I'd have no objections, I have no plans to make a character that can levitate )

This isnt anything about flight, Just to let you know......
Its about a group of adventurers discovering a crashed zepplin, but there is something different about this one than all the others. We won't be flying at anytime with the zepplin or any airship.

Hey - I have an idea.
Perhaps the Zephlin is from the race of air-castle dwellers, crashed in their frantic exodus from the castle - perhaps it had some kind of malfuntion (A leak, maybe?) and had to put down on an island. The crew was never able to repair it, and were stranded. In the rush to escape, the rest of the reffuges did not notice the missing ship until they'd passed through the Etheral Void, and had no way of returning to save it's crew.
But we'd have to have a way to get to the island which it crahsed on... since there is no way it could have landed in Cythera. Which would require Talm's balloon. And by connection, Talm. And Talm is unavalable. Therefore, this idea will have to wait.

Peter Pan wasn't limited. I mean, this is the guy that overcame time! He never gets old!
